Two unidentified militants were killed in a brief gunfight in Shitipora area of Bijbhera in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.

Kashmir Zone Police informed about the encounter through a tweet and said incriminating arms and ammunition has been recovered while search operation is going on.

However, the identity of the killed militants is yet to be determined.
