Police on Saturday opened fire after observing suspicious movement during cordon and search operation in Surankote area of Poonch.

Official sources said that SOG personnel part of a cordon and search operation (CASO) team opened speculative firing after observing a suspicious movement in Gangna top under the jurisdiction Police station Surankote in Poonch.

They said that search operation is underway in the area.
