An unidentified body was found in the Dangri area of Rajouri district on Thursday, officials said.

Locals informed the police about the lying body in Dangri Khalsa Chowk area of Rajouri. the official said, adding that party rushed to the spot and recovered the body.

So far, the identity of the deceased could not be ascertained.

“After completing medico-legal formalities and confirming the identification, the body would be handed over to his legal heirs,” they added.
