A 20-year-old youth from Hyderpora area of Srinagar lost his life in a road accident in Nishat area of Central Kashmir Srinagar district on Friday afternoon officials said.

They said that a youth identified as Moomin Bhat, son of Manzoor Ahmad Bhat, resident of Hyderpora met with an accident on Boulevard road in Nishat Srinagar.

They said that Moomin was shifted to nearby hospital from where he was referred to SKIMS Srinagar where he was declared brought dead.

Meanwhile police have taken cognizance of the incident and started investigation.
