Two militants were killed in an encounter with government forces in Nawapora, Mir Bazar, area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Wednesday.

Government forces launched a cordon and search operation at Nawapora, Mir Bazar, area of the district following information about presence of militants there, a police official said.
He said the search operation turned into an encounter in which one two militants were killed.
