Strict restrictions continue under prohibitory orders in parts of Doda and Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir for fifth straight day.

Mobile internet and broadband services were snapped in Kishtwar, Doda and Ramban districts of Jammu on 9th June in wake of communal tension triggered by the recent derogatory remarks of two now-suspended BJP leaders and social media posts by a few right wing activities in their support.

However, late on Sunday evening, mobile internet and broadband services were restored in Ramban district.

Curfew under section 144 crPC is still in place in Doda’s Baderwah, Gonnah, Thatri and district Kishtwar. Admit cards were treated as curfew pass for students appearing in class 10th and 12th examination.
