Pakistan Muslim League (N), under the leadership of Prime Minister Shahbaz Shareif, and party supremo Nawaz Shareif have decided not to conduct early elections in Pakistan but to focus on providing economic relief to citizens.
The decision was taken in a six-hour-long meeting at an undisclosed location in London in presence of other leaders of the party.
Pertinently, the former Prime Minister and chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan, has been constantly calling for early general elections since he lost the no-confidence motion in the National Assembly.
