This afternoon suicide bomb attack occurred in the premises of Karachi University killing 4 people which included 3 Chinese nationals and injuring several others.

The blast took place in a van near Confucius Institute, a Chinese language teaching centre at the University.

In Charge of the Counterterrorism Department (CTD) confirmed that it was a suicide attack and a burqa-clad woman seen in the CCTV footage was responsible for it.

Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), a banned separatist organization of Paksitan, claimed responsibility for the attack.
