The encounter in Malwah Baramulla entered second day, police on Friday said, four militants have been killed so far.

The gun battle broke out on Thursday morning killing one militant and injuring four security forces personnel in the initial exchange of fire.

One of the slain militants was identified as Yousuf Kantroo who had been involved in militant activities for past 22 years.
