Rajasthan CM, Ashok Gehlot, today questioned Madhya Pradesh government for razing the residence of alleged violence accused to ground in Khargone.

Talking to media, he said, “Similar riot happened in Karauli (in Rajasthan) as well but those caught could be innocent too. Even in MP, those arrested (for clashes) could be innocent. Whether innocent or guilty, they’ve taken this step to raze people’s house. Is this a bold step?”

He also criticized RSS on ‘Akhand Bharat in 15 years’ remark saying Sardar Patel had banned RSS.

“They (RSS) gave in written to never participate in politics, and only indulge in cultural programs”, he said.

Violence had erupted in several states of the country including Rajasthan and MP on the occasion of Ramnavami. The houses of ‘alleged’ accused were demolished by MP government. This was followed by Dharam Sansad in Haridwar, on 13 April 2022, where Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief affirmed making of “Akhand Bharat (Hindu State)” in next 15 years.
