M.S Dhoni Cricket Academy launches its first Srinagar Academy at Doon School .

MS Dhoni Cricket Academy has launched its Academy in Srinagar; the first in the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir.  The academy has partnered with The Doon School, Srinagar and will commence its training operations from the 1st of October 2021 at Srinagar’s Doon School, while registrations are currently open for the academy.

Mihir Diwakar, the founder of Aarka sports while inaugurating the academy said,  ‘the MSDCA  is completely set to transform the standard of coaching and development of cricket in India and abroad. Equipped with all modern technology, high-class coaching facility & certified coaches MSDCA is spreading its centres to every corner of India & abroad.’

He added the objective of this initiative is to bring structured cricket coaching to all the aspiring cricketers in India. MihirDiwakar says “MSDCA is formed with the sole objective to provide a platform to aspiring cricketers in the country through a structured program that equips our players with the skills they need to succeed in cricket and life.

Shaukat Hussain Khan Chairman of DOON SCHOOL while expressing his gratitude to MSDCA  said this academy will pave way for the young Kashmiri cricketers, he said,  “I am very happy to be associated with M.S.Dhoni Cricket Academy with this alliance, children in this region will get an opportunity to learn modern coaching methodology from MSDCA and their accredited BCCI Coaches”.

Coaching in MSDCA involves a lot of game sense and practical activities, with its focus on developing a participant’s ability to perform during a match and not just in the nets. MSDCA Cricket Coaching Program will promote the importance of developing quality cricketers as well as people who are leaders, have strong teamwork capabilities, strive for excellence and display sportsmanship and fair play”.

The Chairman, Doon School also announced free assistance for the  talented cricketers belonging to the low-income group of Kashmir, he said ‘any child from BPL section of society having talent will be supported by Doon School and me personally’.
