IED Detected, Defused On Baramulla-Srinagar Highway

Today on Saturday, an IED (Improvised Explosive Device) was defused along roadside on Baramulla—Srinagar highway in Putkha area of Baramulla district.

Armed forces detect the explosive device following which Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) was called in. After hours of detection the IED was defused.

Traffic was stopped both sides on Baramulla-Srinagar highway as a precautionary measure.
