Two drug peddlers were arrested by police in Handwara district of North Kashmir today on Wednesday.
During routine duty a vehicle bearing Regd. No. Jk09B/0822 was stopped by police party for checking in Langate. During searches, around 70 grams of brown sugar like substance and 02 U40 insulin syringes were recovered from their possession.
The accused were identified as Farooq Ahmad Mir, resident of Lolab and Ghulam Mohammad Dar, resident of Hajan Kralgund.
FIR has been registered in Police Station Handwara and investigation initiated.
