A policeman was killed and his daughter was injured in a militant attack in Srinagar’s Aanchar Soura area on Tuesday, according to police.
“Terrorist fired upon one policeman Saifullah Qadri S/o Mohd Syed Qadri, R/o Malik Saab, in Soura (Anchar) area. He is critically injured. His daughter also got injured,” Kashmir Zone Police tweeted soon after the incident took place.
The two were rushed to the hospital for treatment, however, the cop succumbed to his injuries, while his injured daughter is receiving treatment.
