Police on Monday claimed to have arrested three alleged militants and their associate in Goshbugh area of Pattan in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district in connection with the killing of Manzoor Ahmad Bungroo, a sarpanch who was allegedly killed by militants on April 15.
A police officer said that the suspects, all residents of Goshbugh Pattan, were arrested after receiving information from reliable sources about their involvement in militancy related activities adding that Investigation is going on.
He further added that so far 3 pistols, 2 grenades, 3 magazines and 32 bullets have been recovered in this case.
