Two persons were arrested for assaulting media persons in Srinagar. A Senior police officer said that case has been registered and further investigation been taken up.
“Two miscreants namely Sahil Bashir Sheikh S/o Bashir Ahmed Sheikh and Yasir Jabbar Sheikh S/o Ab Jabbar Sheikh, both Residents of Batmaloo were arrested for assaulting media person & disturbing peace. They were in inebriated condition. FIR No 29/2023U/S 323, 341,506 IPC in Khanyar PS was lodged,” Srinagar Police tweeted.
