A major tragedy has been averted as an IED has been recovered in Chowkibal area of North Kashmir Kupwara district on Wednesday.
An official said that army averted a major terror incident today as they recovered and in-situ destroyed an IED near Chowkibal on the Srinagar-Chowkibal Highway.
Further proceedings along investigation have been taken up.
