Jammu and Kashmir Police on Thursday said to have busted a Lashkar-e-Toiba module and arrested two militant associates in Handwara.
An official said that Handwara Police along-with teams of Army and CRPF busted a militant module of LeT/TRF and recovered arms from Tutigund forest on disclosure of militant associates Parvaiz Ahmad Dar son of Mohammad Rustum Dar and Showkat Ahmad Shergujri son of Ghulam Mohammad Shergujri, both residents of Tutigund Handwara.
“A case vide FIR number 264/2023 under relevant sections of law has been registered and further investigations taken up”, the official said adding more arrests and recoveries are expected in the case.
