An Islamic cleric was stabbed by his followers on Tuesday evening in central Kashmir’s Budgam district officials said.
Official sources revealed that the victim, identified as Ab Aziz Parray, son of Mohd Ismail Parray from Parray Angan, Ompora, Budgam, was attacked by his own followers at his residence. In the incident the cleric sustained minor were injuries.
An official has confirmed that a case has been registered in connection with the incident, and a thorough investigation has been initiated to uncover the truth behind this heinous act.
