An unidentified body was recovered from river Jhelum at Barrage Boniyar area of North Kashmir Baramulla district on Thursday morning officials said.
They said that the unidentified decomposed body was spotted by locals, who later informed the police.
They said that a team police reached to the spot and the body was shifted to a nearby hospital for medico-legal formalities.
They said the identification of the body is being ascertained, while investigation has been taken up.
