A 62-year old man allegedly committed suicide by jumping in front of a moving train in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Monday afternoon.
A police official told The Kashmir Scroll that a man(name withheld) aged about 62 and resident of Gopal Pora Mattan Anantnag allegedly committed suicide in Sadura area of Anantnag.
He said the train was coming from Banihal to Baramulla, he committed suicide.
In the incident man has lost his both his legs and has been shifted to GMC Anantnag in critical condition, he said. Meanwhile police has taken cognizance of the incident and started investigation.
