A civilian was injured after militants hurled a grenade in Gopalpora village of Chadoora in Budgam district on Monday late evening, police said here.
A police official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a civilian identified as Karan Kumar Singh was injured after militants hurled a grenade in Gopalpora village.
He said that he has been shifted to a Srinagar hospital for treatment, where his condition is said to be stable.
Meanwhile, Kashmir zone police on its official Twitter handle also confirmed the incident and said that area has been cordoned off
“Terrorists hurled grenade in Gopalpora Chadoora area of #Budgam in which one civilian namely Karan Kumar Singh got injured. He has been shifted to Srinagar hospital for treatment where his condition is stated to be stable. Area #cordoned off. Further details shall follow,” police tweeted.
