After Government of India’s order, The Jammu and Kashmir administration has nominated nodal officers to enforce the hoisting of flags on every house in JK.
“Sanction is hereby accorded to the nomination of Assistant Development Commissioner concerned of Kashmir Division as nodal officers in respect of their districts for successful implementation of the initiative “Har Ghar Tiranga” in the UT of Jammu and Kashmir,” reads the order.
GoI is planning to celebrate August 11 to August 17 as “Independence Week” across India during which 26 crore households would hoist Indian national flag as part of “Har Ghar Tiranga” order.
