On Wednesday, TV artist who was injured in a militant attack in Hushroo area of Chadoora in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district succumbed to injuries.
As per police, militants fired upon Amreen Bhat, an artist playing role in TV and her 10-year-old nephew outside their home in Hushroo Chadoora this evening. Both of them were immediately taken to Chadoora hospital from where Amreena was shifted to SMHS hospital.
However, Amreena succumbed to critical injuries on way to SMHS hospital and was brought dead by the doctors who attended upon her. “She was brought dead,” Medical Superintendent of SMHS hospital, Dr. Kanwaljeet Singh said.
Farhan, the nephew of the artist has been admitted to Chadoora hospital and is stated to be stable.
Meanwhile entire area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers.
