A man has been arrested on Tuesday by Jammu and Kashmir police for allegedly offending a girl’s modesty in Srinagar.
The accused has been arrested and investigation into the matter has started.
A case has been registered against the accused under Sections 354-D (Assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code.
