On Monday evening, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha visited Pandit colony in Sheikhpura area of central Kashmir’s district Budgam.
Since last 10 days PM Package Employees in Pandit Colony Sheikhpura Budgam have been protesting over the killing of government employee Rahul Bhat. They were demanding that LG should visit the spot and give them assurance about their safety.
Earlier, Inspector General of Police (IGP), Kashmir, Vijay Kumar had met the protesting Kashmiri Pandits. However, they were reluctant to call off protests and were demanding security and relocation.
