National Health and Family Survey (NHFS) data reveals at least 22 percent of people in Jammu and Kashmir have never attended school, and over 11 percent have only attended for five years.
According to the report, 22.4 percent of the population has never attended school, 11.3 percent has attended school for five years, 26.3 percent has attended school for five to nine years, 14.5 percent has attended school for ten to eleven years, and 25.5 percent has attended school for more than twelve years.
