A plea has been filed in local court of Mathura to seal the Shahi Idgah Mosque. The move comes after Varanasi court ordered to seal Gyanvapi Mosque partially.
Bar and Bench reported that the plea has been filed by two lawyers, Mahendra Pratap Singh and Rajendra Maheshwari. They have claimed that there are Hindu religious relics like lotus, Sheshnag, Om, Swastika etc. some of which have been destroyed and some are now trying to be destroyed by the respondents.
They have also sought for security of the premises barring everyone’s entry.
