Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning accompanied by gusty winds was experienced in various parts of Kashmir.
As per reports, the winds intensified causing damage to orchards, residential houses, Vehicles and uprooting trees in several areas of Bandipora, Sopore, Anantnag and Srinagar parts. However, no loss of life has been reported so far.
In Sangrama, Sopore, and in some Srinagar areas, the roofs were blown off and trees were uprooted due to heavy windstorms. Similar accounts were reported from Watapora area of Bandipora, where gusty winds damaged rooftop of a residential house.
Moreover, In Pattan area of Baramulla, two vehicles and got damaged after a tree fell on them.
