The 28-year-old Baramulla woman who was allegedly beaten by husband and in-laws on Eid, succumbed to her injuries on Sunday evening at SKIMS Soura.
The victim hails from Kreeri, Baramulla and is mother of two. Soon after the incident, she was taken to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Kreeri, from where she was shifted to SKIMS Soura for advance treatment.
Earlier, the official said that the victim’s husband has been arrested and further investigation into the matter is going on.
