Israeli forces this morning on Friday barged in Al Aqsa Mosque injuring more than a hundred Palestinians.
The scene occurred during the pre-dawn prayer of Muslims when Israeli forces lashed into compound of Al Aqsa in Occupied West Jerusalem.
The Palestinian Red Crescent emergency service said it evacuated the majority of the wounded to hospitals. One of guard is also said to be injured in eye with rubber bullet.
Moreover, Palestinian media added that dozens injured remained trapped in compound of the mosque as Israeli forces hampered the arrival of ambulances.
Videos showed teargas shells and stun grenade being fired inside the mosque suffocating and injuring the worshippers.
During this escalation at least 300 Palestinians have been arrested and about 150 injured.
As per Israeli forces, their 17 soldiers are injured.
Notably, this violence came after far-right Jewish groups called for raids of the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound during the Jewish Passover holiday, and the offering of animal sacrifices in its courtyards, which has not occurred since ancient times.
