Srinagar Feb 22: Protests rocked the Indian Embassy in Tehran against the recent order of Hijab ban in educational institutes in the Indian state of Karnataka.
After a court order banned Hijab, a group of students was suspended and a police complaint was registered against female students for protesting against the hijab ban.
The move is widely being criticized globally. Kuwait parliamentarians demanded a ban on BJP politicians from entering the country.
Reports said that protestors gathered outside the embassy expressing their solidarity with Muslim students subjected to humiliation and violence for wearing hijab in India.
