Srinagar, Feb 22: Punjab University, after Karnataka, has started profiling of Kashmiri Students. Hundreds of Kashmiri students are studying in over 200 colleges of Punjab and Chandigarh, affiliated with the Punjab University.

Nasir Khuehami, JKSA said that “Kashmiri students have been asked to furnish personal details in Punjab and Chandigarh colleges. They have been asked to provide their present and permanent address, cell number, e-mail along with details of courses, which is very unfortunate.”

Jammu Kashmir Students Association has appealed to the Chief Minister of Punjab to look into the issue and save Kashmiri students from being targeted.
