Srinagar, Nov 03 : Pakistan has disallowed the use of its airspace for flights taking off from Srinagar International Airport for Sharjah. This move makes the flight an hour and half longer as well as more expensive for the passengers. The Ministry of External Affairs and Civil Aviation Ministry have been informed about Pakistan’s decision.
The move has been criticized by the former CM and vice-president of NC, Omer Abdullah citing that it is very unfortunate and the same was done with Air India Express flight from Srinagar-Dubai in 2009-10.
