Jammu, Nov 02 (KNS): Jammu & Kashmir administration, under State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF) norms has declared the untimely rain and snowfall of 23 & 24 October as “UT-specific disaster” and “natural calamity.”
Affected families and departments of Six districts in Jammu and three in Kashmir will receive relief under the declaration. Areas covered under the declaration are: Jammu, Udhhampur, Kishtwar, Reasi, Samba, Kathua, Anantnag, Kulgam and Shopian.
This was announced by the Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha at SKICC during the inauguration of apple festival 2021 on October 28.
