November 1, (KNS)- The People’s Democratic Party president, Mehbooba Mufti on Monday was restricted to move out of her residence after authorities placed her under home detention. Mehbooba Mufti was scheduled to visit the residence of slain youth, Shahid Ahmed Rather who was shot dead under suspicious circumstances in south Kashmir’s Shopian district.
Shahid Ahmad Rather, a resident of the Arwani area in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district, a labourer, was reportedly killed in a cross-firing.
According to Kashmir News Service (KNS), the PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti has been denied such visits in the past as well.
